Nihal Advani Nihal is an experienced digital marketer, globetrotter, and Founder & CEO of Georama. Originally from India, he spent his teenage years as an internationally ranked tennis player before attending the University of Arkansas on a full tennis scholarship. He later transferred to Stony Brook University in New York where he was captain of the varsity tennis team and interned at Google. Upon graduating at the top of his class with a BS in Marketing, he joined Microsoft where he spent five years in various marketing and data roles across Search (Bing) and Display, including as Program Manager for the Microsoft Media Network. When not riding an ostrich in South Africa, windsurfing in Malaysia, or playing the djembe in Prague, Nihal can be found in the Chicago Loop area, dreaming about emerging technologies, and playing with his bulldog, Wimbledon.
Milan Sharma Milan has more than 12 years of enriched technology experience in both front-end and back-end technologies. After graduating in Computer Science & Engineering from Punjab Technical University, he spent two years at Center for Computational Engineering where he last worked as Project Lead for a multi-million dollar banking project. After that, he worked for eight years at Cogniter Technologies as Director of Technology and built its Offshore Development Center from scratch to a 100-person team. He then worked as Co-Founder & Director of Engineering at PalmGeo Technologies for a year before joining Georama as its CTO. He also has undertaken an MBA from UIAMS, Panjab University. If Milan is not working with his developers on rolling out high-end features for Georama, he can be seen spending quality time with his family especially his two-year old boy as well as dreaming of exotic vacations with them.
David DiCosola David is a business development professional with a love for deal making, strategy, and digital marketing. Growing up, David oddly excelled at competitive Ping-Pong and obsessively practiced fade away jumpers in his driveway. While at Miami University (Ohio) David was asked to be President & CEO of Miami’s student-run credit union with $1.8 million in assets making him the youngest C-Level Banking Executive in the U.S. After David graduated with Honors as a Marketing major, he evangelized Google advertising products to small businesses as part of the Google Maps team. After Google, David worked for five years at Cars.com with a variety of roles in sales, product development, sales management, corporate strategy, and business development. When David is not volunteering as a children's hospital magician, he is hanging out with his wife and changing his new-born son’s diapers.
Herrman Taraporewalla Originally from Mumbai, Herrman graduated from a communications program at Drexel University that included a six month Internship at DG Mediamind, a study abroad program in London and a summer internship at a startup company. Herrman’s interest in the online field encouraged him to pursue internships in media companies. During his time at Mediamind, he was involved with executing online advertising campaigns. During the summer of 2012 he took up the challenge of helping set up an online startup in Mumbai. Herrman’s love for start-up companies, traveling, and blogging ultimately drew him towards choosing to join Georama as Content & Marketing Manager. During his free time, Herrman is always found talking and dreaming of soccer, more specifically he is busy keeping up-to-date with the significant and insignificant aspects of Arsenal Football Club.
Neil Feuling Neil is a hospitality aficionado turned digital start up enthusiast, with a decade of experience in strategy, marketing, and business development for multi-million dollar businesses. He is a consultant to startups, such as GrubHub.com, with a successful track record in e-commerce retailing, digital marketing, corporate strategy and partnerships for online businesses, like Cars.com. Neil holds an MBA in Marketing Strategy and Entrepreneurship as well as a MS in Finance, both from DePaul University where he founded the Kellstadt Marketing Group. When Neil and his wife are not roaming the urban landscape throughout North and South Americas, Europe and Asia in search of culinary experiences, he'll confess an affection for field hockey and musicals. He and his wife live in Chicago's Near North neighborhood.
